Bears Ranch (formally Rapp Corral) is nestled at the base of the majestic Hermosa cliffs with breathtaking Alpine mountain views & unparalleled star gazing.

Guests can enjoy winter old fashioned sleigh rides and spectacular horseback trail rides in the spring and summer. Stroll or bike to Lake Haviland and enjoy world class fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding. Hiking and biking trails abound along the Historic Rico to Rockwood Animas wagon toll road. A delightful one mile hike through Aspen groves takes you to Forebay Lake for even more secluded fishing and scenery.

Bears Ranch encourages kids and families to explore and enjoy the great outdoors while educating them on the history of the area.
