Due to the spring like conditions the sleigh ride season has ended.

Our scenic old fashioned sleigh and carriage rides run about 45 minutes in length with beautiful views of Engineer Mountain, Needles Mountains, Hermosa Cliffs and Haviland Lake. Hot chocolate and blankets are provided. The trail is a beautiful taste of Southwest Colorado creating life-long memories for the whole family! 

Sleigh rides depart at 3:30pm and 4:30pm every day except Mondays. Sleigh season will run as late into the spring as the weather will permit. All sleigh rides are reservation only - please call or book online!

Bears Ranch is closed on Mondays.

The VIP Tiki Sleigh ride departs at 5:30pm, as the sun is setting. This unique ride gives visitors a chance to view the beautiful Hermosa cliffs and alpen-glow on Engineer & Needles mountain range. Tiki Torches light the sleigh trail on the way back to the ranch. It’s a truly beautiful evening activity. Guests receive a Bears Ranch souvenir mug on this ride!

Guests traveling VIA Uber please make sure you secure a ride back down the mountain as we are about 20 miles north of Durango!
