We will start taking reservations for the summer 2026 season on April 1st 2026.

Trail Rides at Bears Ranch offers magnificent horseback rides through the
Chris Park and Haviland Lake trail system.

Please note before booking:
- Riders must be at least 7 years of age to go out on the trail. There is NO double riding allowed.
- We have a strict weight limit of 230 pounds per rider. This is to protect our guests and horses.

- Reservations cannot be made online within 48 hours of the scheduled ride. If you are trying to book within that time frame please call the ranch to check availability.
- During the heat of summer southwestern Colorado does experience a monsoon season, so if available, we do recommend morning rides.
If it is going to rain it is more likely to rain in the afternoon during this time. (Monsoon season usually runs late June through August)
- We will be closed some Sundays throughout the season - please check our FareHarbor page for availability
