The last day of trail rides for the 2025 season will be Wednesday, October 29th.

We will begin accepting reservations for the 2026 summer season on April 1, 2026.

Trail Rides at Bear’s Ranch offer magnificent horseback experiences through the Chris Park and Haviland Lake trail system. It is our joy to share western traditions with travelers from near and far, and we can’t wait to welcome you back into the saddle!

GreyEyes LLC DBA Trail Rides and Sleigh Rides at Bears Ranch operates under a special use permit for the San Juan National Forest and is an equal opportunity service provider.

Please note before booking:

• Riders must be at least 7 years of age to go out on the trail. Double riding is not permitted.

• There is a strict weight limit of 230 pounds per rider to ensure the safety and comfort of both our guests and our horses.

• Online reservations are not available within 48 hours of the scheduled ride. If you are booking within that timeframe, please call the ranch directly to check availability.

• During the heat of summer, Southwest Colorado experiences a monsoon season (typically late June through August). If rain is in the forecast, it is more likely in the afternoon, so morning rides are recommended when available.
