Bears Ranch
Home of the Brave
American Heritage Center
Home of the Brave (HOTB) is an American Heritage Center being developed at Bear’s Ranch, near Durango, Colorado. The project preserves and interprets the stories that shaped our nation, with a primary focus on World War II service, while placing that history within the broader context of American, Colorado, and Western heritage.
HOTB is envisioned as a permanent educational and cultural destination—designed for long-term public engagement, learning, and remembrance—rather than a temporary exhibit or event venue.
